WEBSITE FEES


  • What do I get with the monthly maintenance fee?

    For $100/month we host your website on our secure servers, manage all security patches and updates, provide support for technical issues, and perform all change requests (new pages, updated content, etc.). Just email websites@mycase.com with your detailed request.

  • What do I get with the setup fee?

    For the setup fee of $750, we will create your website using one of our professionally designed layouts featuring integrations with your solutions software and a mobile-friendly design. Our services also include custom logo creation, blog setup, social media integration, HD photography purchasing, professional content writing, and domain purchasing at no additional cost. 


    *Content writing only applies to practice area descriptions and a firm overview. All other content, such as bios, must be provided by your firm.


  • When do I pay the $750 setup fee and begin paying the $100 monthly fee?

    The $750 will be due and payable immediately upon the signing of this Custom Websites Agreement. The $100 monthly Website Maintenance Fee will be added to your monthly subscription invoice on the next billing date after you have provided written approval of the Website (“Live Site”), but in any event, no later than the second billing date after you have signed the Custom Websites Agreement, regardless if your Website is a Live Site 


  • Do I have to sign a long-term contract?

    No! The website services are a monthly subscription.

  • Do I need to be a subscription user to have a website?

    Yes, you need to be a member of one of our Affinipay Software Solutions or a LawPay Payment customer to be eligible for a Website.


WEBSITE DESIGN


  • How long will it take to build the website?

    Once you have provided the necessary content, you can expect to receive your Preview Site within 30 days. We may have periods of high volume or holiday seasons where it may take longer. We will communicate any expected delays upfront.


  • What if I don’t like the design?

    We will work with you until you are happy with the website. We typically work within the framework of one of our custom layout designs which you can check out here, but we will adjust the colors, images, content, widgets, etc. to get the right look for you!


  • How many pages can my website have?

    Your website can have an unlimited number of pages or blog posts, with no additional fees or limits.

  • Can you work on an existing site I already have or integrate my existing website?

    No, we only build and maintain websites on our platform. In addition, certain solution feature integrations are exclusive to our websites.


  • Can I use my own domain name?

    Absolutely. Once your site is ready to launch and has been approved by you, we will connect your domain name. If you don’t already have a domain name, we can purchase and manage one for you.


  • Can you set up my @mydomain.com email address?

    We are happy to add any existing MX and .TXT records to your domain’s DNS records, however, we currently do not offer new email setup or maintenance. We recommend consulting a local IT company for this service.



WEBSITE FEATURES


  • Can I blog with my website?

    Absolutely! There are a few ways to add a blog post to your site. You may send the organized content to websites@mycase.com and we will create the post for you. Alternatively, you may request editing access to your site to post directly. We are happy to provide a tutorial on how to navigate the website editor.


  • Can I receive payments from clients through the website?

    If you are set up on one of our payment solution platforms, your clients can pay invoices directly on your website. If you use another payment platform, you can provide a link that we can embed onto the website for clients to access. 

  • What if I need my website in more than one language?

    We can update the content of each page to another language free of charge using our platform translation. In the event that you prefer different verbiage, you will need to provide us with all of the translated content.

  • Can I have an SSL Certificate?

    Yes! When your new Website is completed and launched, we will install an SSL certificate on your site to ensure that all traffic is encrypted and the entire site is safe and secure.



WEBSITE MAINTENANCE


  • How hard is it for me to add/edit content? Can my team and I receive editing access?

    Very easy! Just email a detailed request to websites@mycase.com and our team of website specialists will handle your request. If you would like direct editing access to your website, you can inform your production specialist during your new build or email websites@mycase.com with the first name, last name, and email address of any team members whom you wish to have access. 


  • What happens if I want to leave? Do I own the site?

    You own all of the content on your website, including anything that we have created or purchased for you (logo, images, website content, etc.). However, because the websites are built on our custom template designs with integrations with our software, we retain ownership of the underlying code. We can provide all of your website content so that you can move it to a different platform, as well as transfer the domain to your preferred hosting provider. 



SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION


  • What SEO services does Affinipay Solutions offer?

    We are a completely separate company from all search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc.). It's important to note that there is no single fix or one-step solution for enhancing your search results, but there are a variety of methods you can use to improve your SEO.

     

    We build your site using essential on-page search engine optimization (SEO) fundamentals. Specifically, each page on your website is optimized with a unique URL, page title & description of a designated length, ensuring we use keywords that are relevant to your practice, including the firm’s name, locale, cities/counties served, and practice areas. If you have opted to use our writing team, the content generated for your website will also include these keywords amongst the written content, to ensure they are accessible to both search engines and people reading through.


    Other SEO best practices that we complete before the launch of your site include adding title tags to each page with both headings & subheadings, internal linking of pages with anchor text where applicable, as well as alternative text (alt-text) and descriptive file names for all images.


    During the final stage of launching your site, we also complete a number of steps to ensure your site can be found by search engines. These include generating an XML sitemap so search engines have a map of where the pages on your site link to, verification of your domain and website through the major search engines and requested indexing of your site through the major search engines. It is important to note that indexing of your site through search engines is an ongoing process that takes time, especially if your domain is brand new, so it can take a few months to be found on Google.


  • Is there a more advanced SEO package I can purchase?

    We do not currently offer any advanced SEO or marketing packages, but you can always run your own web advertising or other marketing campaigns in parallel with the website.


  • Can my SEO manager receive editing access to the website?

    Yes! Simply send an email to websites@mycase.com with the first name, last name, and email address of your SEO manager. 


  • Will my site be on the first page of Google?

    If only it were that simple! While all sites are built with SEO fundamentals in mind, ultimately your Google ranking will depend on many factors. How competitive is the local market for your services? How competitive is your geographic region? How often are you adding content? How old is your domain? How much time, money, and effort are you investing in blogging, content generation, and digital marketing?


    After a few months of your site being live, you can expect to be on the first page of Google results when somebody is searching for your firm (unless your name is very common), but getting on the first page for a practice area or a region depends on many factors.

  • Why would I want to rebuild my website?

    If you have an existing website that you’re looking to overhaul, we have recently introduced a number of newly updated website themes featuring more animation, color options, and personalization. We can bring across your existing content and images onto one of these new themes with a variety of fully responsive, fresh, and modern designs – all built exclusively for law firms.   • How much does the rebuild cost?

    There is a setup fee of $750 payable when you sign the website contract – there will be no change to the recurring monthly fee you are already paying per website.


  • How long will the rebuild take?

    We aim to launch your updated site within 30 days of our initial kick-off call where we will discuss the specifics of your new site design and gather any essential items.


  • Can I change my domain name?

    Yes, we can include the purchase of one new domain name, but we recommend you keep the same domain name for SEO reasons. Your current domain has a history and ranking associated with it, so using a new domain name will cause your website to lose any ranking previously established.


    If you own additional domains, we can assist in redirecting them to your main website.

  • Will my website be SEO friendly?

    Yes, just like your initial website build, we implement essential Search Engine Optimization fundamentals for each page on your site, including page titles, page descriptions, image alternative text, integrated blog, social media integration, XML sitemap, and verification with the major search engines.


  • Will you be redesigning my logo too?

    Yes, a new logo design is available to you upon request!
